In the process there develops and always remains a class struggle between these two economic classes. "The history of hitherto existing classes has been a history of class struggle." The social evolution takes place in the form of this class struggle which ultimately leads to a revolution of the Have-nots against the Haves. Politics in a society is always a reflection of the class struggle. It is the process by which the Haves try to maintain their advantageous position by the use of power of the state over the Have-nots.
